Turnover of the road project at Barangay Maria Cristina.
The new road in Barangay Maria Cristina, a project by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) facilitated by Congressman Celso G. Regencia, was officially turned over last Thursday. This project aims to provide a more efficient road to promote the residents’ development.
Congressman Celso G. Regencia, Barangay Captain Nilo L. Laurete, the Barangay Council members, and engineers from DPWH attended the turnover ceremony. Leony Roy Ga, the former Senior Political Officer from Congressman Regencia’s office, was also present. The project seeks to expedite movement and business recovery, offering broader economic opportunities for the barangay’s residents.
According to Congressman Celso G. Regencia, the project is a priority response to the barangay’s primary needs.
“This project is not just an infrastructure but a symbol of our commitment to providing a safer and more efficient service for the people of Iligan. This is our road towards progress for every community.”
For his part, Barangay Captain Nilo L. Laurete expressed his gratitude for the support received by the barangay.
