A significant development has been provided to the residents of Barangay Suarez, Iligan City, through the official turnover of the new multipurpose building, led and funded by Congressman Celso G. Regencia through the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-Iligan, headed by District Engineer Maria A. David.

 

The turnover ceremony was attended by barangay officials, including Barangay Captain Rossil Abrero, council members, and engineers from DPWH. Also present were guests Leony Roy Ga and Holden Ian Loking, who expressed their support for the community without bringing politics or bias, focusing solely on service to the people.

 

In his message, Congressman Regencia emphasized service beyond any political affiliation: “This building is the result of genuine concern for the community. There is no color or politics involved; the goal and intent are solely to uplift the lives of all residents.”

 

The multipurpose building is intended to be used for various services and activities that will support the welfare of Barangay Suarez.

Barangay Captain Rossil Abrero expressed gratitude to Congressman Regencia for the project: “We are deeply thankful to Congressman Regencia for his unwavering support, as this project will greatly benefit our barangay. It will enhance the well-being of our residents.”
