The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is proud to announce the launch of the Ayuda Para Sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP) in Iligan City. This initiative will provide PHP 3,000 financial assistance to 3,000 beneficiaries, with distribution scheduled for September 5 and September 6, 2024.
On September 5, the first 1,500 beneficiaries will receive their aid, followed by the remaining 1,500 on September 6.
The AKAP program is designed to offer a diverse menu of assistance, including essential goods and services, tailored to meet the specific needs of individuals and families affected by the rising cost of living. By addressing these needs directly, AKAP aims to provide significant relief and support to those most in need.
The Congressional Office of Iligan has extended its thanks to the DSWD, the Office of the President, and House Speaker Martin Romualdez for their significant support in making this program possible.
The Ayuda Para Sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP) represents a proactive approach by the Marcos government to mitigate the effects of economic pressures on its citizens and ensure that aid is provided promptly and effectively.
