The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) – CENRO Iligan, in partnership with the Congressional Office of Iligan City, distributed a total of 1,000 fruit seedlings to various barangays in the city as part of an ongoing initiative to promote sustainable agriculture and environmental stewardship.
The fruit seedlings, which include 320 pieces of Durian, 145 pieces of Pomelo, 34 pieces of Rambutan, and 501 pieces of Langka, were distributed to several barangays, including Pugaan, Dalipuga, Lanipao, Rogongon, and Bunawan.
