October 10, 2024 | Distribution of Assistance for Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers in Iligan

Congressman Celso G. Regencia led the distribution of the Tulong Panghanapbuhay Para sa Ating mga Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program this morning at the Brgy. Kiwalan Gymnasium, where 2,883 beneficiaries each received PHP 4,380. This initiative, under the leadership of President Bongbong Marcos and House Speaker Martin Romualdez, aims to provide temporary employment to workers who have lost their jobs across the Philippines.

Congressman Regencia emphasized the importance of integrity and responsible spending. “I urge all beneficiaries to make good use of your assistance. Ensure that you directly benefit from this aid. Be vigilant about the remittance centers you use; you must receive the full PHP 4,380. Use this wiselyβ€”especially for your family’s urgent needs,” Regencia stated.

The TUPAD program reflects the government’s commitment to uplift and support Filipino workers facing hardships, ensuring they receive immediate and meaningful assistance through organized efforts nationwide.
